Summer of 2006:
Water quality of West Pond continues to be drinkable

Summer of 2002:
Water monitoring efforts by Bill & Nicky Buchanan has revealed a water clarity of 4 on a scale of 0 to 5. With 5 being clear and 0 being murky. The "4" reading is consistent with reading dating back 15 years, and shows a healthy body of water so far.
Joe Davock had the water tested in two areas of the pond. The water was tested by Demers Testing Laboratory in Springvale ME.
Our water is rated satisfactory for drinking!!! With an e-coli level of 3 per 100.
